Coolsculpting
Also known as cryolypolysis, coolsculpting is very popular in the aesthetic world. Approved by the FDA and Health Canada, the treatment uses a non-invasive technique that targets fat cells (adipose) in order to destroy them by exposing them to very cold temperatures. Once destroyed, fat cells are removed from the body by the lymphatic system and do not reappear.
Potentially targeted regions are:
- Abdomen
- Thighs
- Submental region
- Flanks (love handles)
- Arms
- Fat accumulation zone overhanging the bra
- Back
- Sub-gluteal region (Banana Roll)
