Dermal fillers
As we age, tissues tend to lose their elasticity and tone, which leads to aging of the physical appearance. Dermal fillers help restore volume, correct imperfections and promote skin hydration. It is thanks to them that we can shape full lips or correct stubborn dark circles.
The process consists in injecting a synthetic protein found naturally in the body (hyaluronic acid) and thus restore volume and elasticity to the tissues. The filler also stimulates the production of endogenous collagen in the treated area (bonus effect!).
The most recent products have a lifespan of around 9-18 months, at the end of which the treatment will have to be restarted to obtain the same aesthetic effect. Note that there is also an “antidote” to dissolve the product if the result is not entirely satisfactory.
